You Might Be Manifesting from Fight or Flight (Here’s How to Shift)

Let’s talk about something most vision boards don’t: your nervous system.
You could have the most aesthetic affirmations and a perfectly curated Pinterest board and still feel stuck. Why? Because the energy you’re manifesting from matters more than the images taped to your wall. If your body is in a chronic state of stress, fear, or survival, it’s likely you're manifesting from fight or flight, not from safety, trust, or true alignment.
And manifestation from fight or flight often creates more of the same: urgency, burnout, anxiety, and chasing what never quite lands.
What It Really Means to Manifest from Safety
When your nervous system is regulated, your body feels safe. You’re able to receive, respond, and rest, not just react. That calm, grounded state is fertile ground for aligned manifestations. Why? Because you're no longer reaching for desires out of desperation or fear. You are calling them in from a space of knowing.
Dr. Nicole LePera, also known as The Holistic Psychologist, often says, “You don’t attract what you want. You attract what you are.” If your baseline is dysregulation, even your clearest intentions can get clouded. But if your baseline is peace, you become magnetic.

You feel anxious or tense when thinking about your desires
You keep refreshing your bank account, inbox, or DMs for proof
You second-guess every decision or opportunity
Your manifestations feel hard-earned instead of aligned
How to Shift Into a Regulated Space
Here’s a gentle practice to anchor you into safety before you visualize, journal, or set intentions:
💫 The Grounding Breath Ritual:
Sit or lie down comfortably.
Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 6.
Repeat this breath cycle for 2 to 3 minutes.
With each breath, imagine your body softening. Feel the ground holding you.
Now ask yourself: If I already felt safe, supported, and certain… what would I allow in today?
This simple shift will help your body feel calm and open. And when your body feels safe, your energy becomes a magnet.
